Lead Agronomist, Jolene Strain (Buziak) grew up a proud farm kid in the Battlefords. Graduating with honours from the University of Saskatchewan in 2008 with a degree in Environmental Science. This was an especially exciting time for Jolene as she moved into forging her own career and starting her life with her husband Brennon together on Aber-Bel Farms. 

Jolene’s experience in education drew out a keen interest in soil science and a career in agriculture was the right fit. After graduation an internship with Cargill led to her earning accreditation as a Certified Crop Advisor. Beyond the fields, Jolene is committed to fostering a thriving agricultural community. Actively engaged in promoting agriculture among the students and women, she conducts educational initiatives to empower the next generation of farmers and advocates for the strong women and young men making their mark in the agricultural sector.  While work on Aber-Bel Farms keeps Brennon busy he is often found taking calls with fellow farmers and working on the sale end of the business at 4Suns. We are proud to be a family ran business with history that dates back to the early 1900’s.
